Lady Wakes Up from Mortuary 2 Days After Death

Twenty-one-year-old Adora Ugwu is planning to be a soldier. She also wants to secure admission into one of the country’s tertiary institutions. She had put her hands on the plough of her latter dream by writing the last UMTE. But, as she was going for the other one, she died. Two  days  after the lady wrote the examination, she was heading for her home state of Enugu for the recruitment into the  Nigerian  Army when the vehicle she was travelling had a head-on collision with a similar minibus. The result: her death and that of 25 others who included four discharged members of batch B National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Twenty of them including Adora reportedly died on the spot in headon collision involving two 15 passengers’ capacity buses, each, belonging separately to Peace Mass Transit Limited and the Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO). It sure sounds unbelievable, but a young woman has been delivered of a monkey-like monster in Otukpo, the ancestral home of Idoma nation. The outré event took place recently at St Theresa Hospital, Otukpo in Benue State, when a woman said to be the wife of a hunter from Oju Local Government Area of the state gave birth to a creature that looks like a monster. The strange delivery, we gathered came as a surprise to the already mother of nine the who had successfully delivered nine children in the past and was having her 10 th child before the strange creature visited her. Bianca, Maduekwe, others receive posting letters Ministry of Foreign Affairs has presented 85 out of the 88 new Nigerian Ambassadors their postings and letters of credence to the countries of their assignments. Bianca Ojukwu    The last batch, made up of three ambassadors, were expected to receive their letter by Monday night. The issuance of the letters represents the last stage of official release of the envoys to resume at their duty posts. Our correspondent learnt in Abuja on Monday that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Olugbenga Ashiru, handed letters to each of the ambassadors after a one-on-one meeting which began on Saturday night. NLC meeting with FG ends in deadlock as strike continues

Yesterday, Labour had a meeting with the FG concerning the ongoing Nation-wide protest on fuel subsidy removal. The meeting ended in deadlock as the FG says the fuel price should be N120.00 while NLC says should be N90.00 No agreement we met on both side, so the strike continues as it enters its 5th day today... Some of the protests, over the end of fuel subsidies, Monday, were marred with clashes with police that left some wounded and a handful dead, protesters said.
